Amston Lake is a beautiful 188 acre lake with shores in both the towns of Lebanon and Hebron CT. The lake is surrounded by acres of undeveloped woodlands and there is a tranquil atmosphere about the area, this is a non-powerboat lake and relaxing lake activities are enjoyed here such as swimming, fishing, sailing, canoeing and kayaking. There are approximately 700 homes in the lake area, with both seasonal and full time residences. Golfing, great restaurants, shopping as well as numerous parks and trails are nearby.

The lake, Main Beach, Lollipop Beach, and seven small rights of way are owned by the Amston Lake District. These properties are available for the use of lake residents and their guests.

The district is governed by a nine-member board of directors, each director serving a three-year term. The board meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the Clubhouse on Wood Acres Road.

The lake and beaches are managed by Reggie Miles, a long-time Amston resident with many years of service to the community.

Boating   Access to the beaches is controlled by lake passes issued yearly by the lake manager. Boat storage is available at all of the beaches for residents who don\'t live directly on the lake.
