Columbia Lake is owned and operated by the town of Columbia, and season passes are available through the First Selectman’s Office. Boat moorings are available through a lottery system. The beach season begins Memorial Day Weekend, and the beach does have lifeguards on duty during certain hours. Visit the Columbia Lake Beach website for beach hours, lifeguard hours, and fees.
