Lake Chaffee in Ashford, CT is located in beautiful Northeastern CT with a host of antique shops and excellent restaurants only a few minutes away. The lake is an oasis for kayakers and fishermen who paddle and fish around the lake. With a rope swing on one of the islands in the center of the lake you can hear the laughter of children (and maybe an adult or two) as they joyously leap into the water on a hot summer day. We owned a home on this peaceful lake for a number of years and absolutely loved it, easy commute to UConn and Hartford with quick access to I84.
